The Quest for the Holy Grain
Best Microbreweries

A microbrewery is defined by the American Brewers Association as a brewery with an annual production less than 15,000 US beer barrels (1,800,000 L).
A brewpub brews on premise and serves food. For the purpose of the Quest for the Holy Grain, a microbrewery would be a small brewery with a tasting room open to the public, though the hours may be limited. A microbrewery for our purposes serves little or no food.
Microbreweries usually give free samples of their beer.
Microbreweries may also sell pints, fill growlers, or sell bottled products.
Brewery tours are sometimes given.
