Doppio Malto claims to be a brewpub, but the beer is made elsewhere.
They have 2 other locations in the city.

A small venue on the street corner, there is a service bar and 3 tall-boy tables.
A glass enclosed room is outside.
A flight of steps takes one upstairs to a restaurant-style area with a small bar in the center and seating for perhaps 200.
There is also a cooler with some of their beer to go. They have about 12 beers on tap in various styles.

Birrifico Milano
Via Ferrante Aporti 12

Birrifico Milano claims to be a brewpub, but their beer is made "41 kilometers from here."  I think that makes it a beer bar.

They are located about 2 blocks from the train station; about a block beyond the crowded, trashy area.

The bar room is clean and bright with plenty of room with only several tables. Many people sit outside at umbrellaed tables.
The beer is German-themed with a Pilsner, Hefeweizen, dark lager, bock, Doppelbock, weizenbock, as well as several IPAs. They are tasty and easy to drink, but perhaps not true to style as they are subtly flavored.

Birrificio Italiano was born in 1996 as a brewpub, the first microbrewery in the region of Lombardy . As time went by, they became a benchmark for craft brewing on the Italian beer scene and beyond.

Most of the beer is available in bottles to go.
